Brian brings a background rooted in service to Valor Horses for Heroes. A Marine Corps veteran with a career built around public service, he has spent much of his life on the front lines of his community and has seen firsthand the weight that veterans carry long after the uniform comes off. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Social Work, with plans to continue to his Master's, driven by a desire to turn that lived experience into real support for others.

At Valor Horses for Heroes, Brian is drawn to the power of connection between people, animals, and community, as a path toward healing. Having watched too many people he served alongside struggle in silence, he's passionate about being part of a space where veterans can be met with understanding instead of judgment, and where asking for help feels like strength, not weakness.

Outside of his internship, you can find Brian spending time with family or exploring North Carolina by way of golf.
