At Valor Horses for Heroes, we are committed to providing clinicians with high-quality, individualized consultation that promotes confidence, competence, and fidelity to the EMDR therapy model. Kenneth Palmer, LCSW, is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant who provides consultation for therapists who have completed an EMDRIA-approved Basic Training and are seeking to strengthen their clinical skills or pursue EMDRIA Certification. Consultation offers a collaborative, supportive environment to discuss case conceptualization through the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, refine protocol application, develop effective clinical interweaves, address challenges such as dissociation and complex trauma, and ensure ethical, competent practice. Kenneth has extensive experience working with military service members, veterans, and first responders, bringing specialized knowledge of military culture, operational stress, moral injury, combat trauma, line-of-duty experiences, and the unique clinical considerations these populations present. Whether clinicians are seeking ongoing professional development or completing the consultation requirements for EMDRIA Certification, consultation with Kenneth emphasizes practical skill development, clinical confidence, and adherence to EMDRIA standards while supporting therapists in delivering effective, evidence-based trauma treatment across both general and specialized populations.
