Jessica is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Walden University, where she is focused on supporting both veterinary professionals and the clients they serve. She is especially passionate about addressing burnout and compassion fatigue within the veterinary field, as well as advocating for low-income families and survivors of domestic violence who need help caring for and keeping their pets.

Jessica brings over a decade of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician, having worked in general practice, emergency medicine, and low-cost/shelter care since becoming licensed in 2013. Her unique background allows her to bridge the gap between animal care and human services with empathy and practical understanding.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her animals, reading, going to the beach, kayaking, and traveling.
