Lil Bit joined Casey’s family in 2013 after being adopted from a shelter in Maine. Since then, he’s traveled faithfully with her from Maine to Georgia and now North Carolina—bringing his big heart, loud purr, and mischievous charm everywhere he goes.

Originally hired as a “barn cat,” Lil Bit quickly decided that mousing was not the career path for him. Instead, he discovered his true calling:
✨ greeting clients, offering gentle snuggles, supervising therapy sessions, and spreading comfort wherever needed.

Lil Bit takes his role at Valor Horses for Heroes very seriously. You’ll often find him:
• Sitting proudly in Casey’s office, purring through sessions
• Welcoming clients from the porch like the distinguished host he believes himself to be
• Attempting (with great enthusiasm) to climb into cars to join clients on their next adventure
• Occasionally knocking items off tables—because, well… he’s still a cat

But his favorite job of all?
💛 Providing quiet companionship during emotional moments.
Lil Bit has an exceptional sense for when someone needs a comforting presence and is always ready to offer a warm nuzzle or a steady purr.

Whether he’s greeting you at the door, supervising paperwork, or curling up during a session, Lil Bit is a beloved part of the Valor team and an expert in making people feel welcome, seen, and cared for.
