Lukas is currently pursuing his Master of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has always been deeply curious about people—how they think, experience the world, and understand themselves. He brings that curiosity, along with openness and acceptance of others, into his work with clients. Lukas strives to create a space where people feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted for who they are.

Before pursuing social work, Lukas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies from North Carolina State University, where his studies focused on human-centered design and the importance of incorporating people and their needs into the design process. This experience taught him to look beyond assumptions and take the time to understand the people at the center of his work. He has found that this perspective translates naturally into social work, where understanding a person begins with listening to their experiences, appreciating their perspective, and remaining curious about what makes their experience uniquely their own.

As Lukas continues his education and clinical training, he is particularly interested in personal growth and self-understanding. While his therapeutic approach continues to develop, curiosity, connection, and acceptance remain central to his work. He views therapy as an opportunity to slow down, explore experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of oneself within a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

Outside of his work and studies, Lukas enjoys photography and spending time in nature. Photography has taught him to slow down, be present, and notice the small details that might otherwise go unnoticed. He also enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog, Apollo.

Lukas looks forward to meeting clients wherever they are in their journey and creating a space where they feel seen, understood, and supported as they explore who they are and where they would like to grow.
