Todd Erler, MSW Student
Clinical Therapist Intern

Todd has called New Bern, North Carolina home for over 12 years. He joined the United States
Marine Corps in 1998 and retired as a Master Sergeant in 2020. While on active duty, Todd
obtained his bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security from American Military University and a
Master of Education in Teaching & Learning from Liberty University. Todd is currently a first-
year student in the Master of Social Work program at Walden University. Upon completion of
this program, he will also receive a graduate certificate in Child and Family Services.
From August 2022 through February 2023, Todd was a general intern here at Valor Horses
for Heroes. In the Fall of 2023, Todd returned to the practice for his clinical internship. After
graduating in the Spring of 2024, Todd looks forward to helping individuals and families as an
LCSW-A at Valor.
